In May 2018, I discovered the ideal space for my practice on the first floor of Rapenburg 34. It was love at first sight, with a fantastic view of the Academy Building. Little did I know which historical celebrities had lived in the building: Abraham Elsevier and sons from the academic printing family; Daniël van Ceulen, a professor of law and lawyer for Hof van Holland; Charles Drélincourt, a professor of medicine, also the court physician of Louis XIV and consulting physician to King-Stadholder William III and Mary Stuart. Plus, a handful of other notables. Their spirits maintain the atmosphere complimented by all our guests.
