From my first days here, I felt a strong spirit of camaraderie and support from both colleagues and students. The priority is not only research and teaching but also the well-being of students and staff. Zero tolerance for discrimination has fostered a supportive and inclusive atmosphere. My personal accomplishments in Leiden, such as receiving the Best Teacher of the Year Award in 2021, reflect that encouraging environment. For me, the university is not just a place of employment, but a thriving community where I have learned and grown.
