My fondest memory is of us opening the Anxiety and Stress Knowledge Centre (KAS) in 2020. We had wanted to make more of an impact as researchers for years, to ensure that new knowledge about anxiety and stress gets to the right place as soon as possible. KAS does this with partners such as municipalities, schools and youth services. We develop workshops for schools and training for children who, for example, have social anxiety and avoid certain situations. Or are afraid of animals. We also develop treatment methods to identify early warning signs, to make sure effective help is quick and easy to access. It’s great that we can do this!
