Classes in the Old Observatory

Classes in the Old Observatory

Contribution: Edwin van Leeuwen (alumnus (1994) and now biology student)

In 1988, I entered Leiden University with a group of 80 biology students. We had classes at the Old Observatory. In the third year, we conducted practicals in the Hortus botanicus, at the location where the ticket booth and restaurant are now situated. They were truly beautiful and inspiring places to have class.
