Bibliotheca Thysiana. That this collection has been preserved and can still be consulted is extraordinary. Not only is the collection of 17th-century books housed in the old building at Rapenburg 25 beautiful to see but it also serves as an amazing resource for various research projects. As a master's student in Book and Digital Media Studies, I had the chance to visit the library, attend classes there, and (carefully) look at the books. It feels like stepping back in time the moment you enter this magnificent library. I could spend hours, days, weeks, months and years enjoying the beautifully preserved works.
