The Leiden Ranking Open Edition is a ranking that shows how more than 1,500 major universities worldwide perform in scientific research. The information in the ranking is fully transparent. This means that both the data used and the source code of the algorithm (the calculations) are accessible.
This unique ranking is published annually by the Centre for Science and Technology Studies (CWTS) at Leiden University. We are excited and proud to be a frontrunner in this transition to transparent rankings.
