I love libraries. As a student, I particularly loved the NINO Library, at Matthias de Vrieshof 4. It’s such a wonderful, classic library where you could study and write surrounded by open bookshelves, making unexpected discoveries. It was a place where you could easily meet not only fellow students but also experts in the field, as their workspaces were there too. But all libraries are special places, especially when the books are arranged in open stacks. It feels like walking through the treasure chambers of a knowledge museum.
