LUMC Gallery is a unique exhibition space in Leiden. It is the only place in Leiden where you can see contemporary art exhibitions. It is also the only exhibition space in the world within a medical, university context. The exhibitions are often related to a theme and showcase developments in contemporary art. The exhibitions often involve collaboration with museums in Leiden and the Leiden University Libraries. LUMC Gallery is over 30 years old and attracts visitors from all over the country. As one visitor said: 'Now I have to go to hospital to see good art!'
