The Carolus Clusius Garden in the Hortus botanicus. It’s wonderful to find the namesake of your grandson’s school in Leiden’s cherished historic Hortus. Carolus Clusius was the first prefect of the Hortus. In 1590, when the Hortus was founded, it looked much like this reconstructed garden.
