Working in the Gorlaeus Building feels like a luxury every single time. That’s mainly because of the natural light and the pleasant interior design, but also because of everything the building has to offer. An ultra-modern measurement hall, according to some, a playground for physicists, cutting-edge labs, lecture halls and offices, a library, a brasserie and a bar, technical services that can build just about anything, and at the heart of the building, the spaces for student associations. It’s the kind of place where you genuinely want to work and study. Oh, and there’s also a lovely outdoor area with plenty of seating, greenery, and a unique fountain designed by Vincent Icke.
