Representing Leiden University as Advocate General at the European Law Moot Court (ELMC) Regional Final in Helsinki was a defining moment. Delivering an independent opinion before EU law experts challenged me to think critically and speak with clarity under pressure. What made it even more meaningful was the camaraderie with my teammates and the support from our Leiden coaches, who pushed us to aim higher with every draft and rehearsal. That moment in Helsinki perfectly captured the academic excellence, international spirit, and intellectual ambition that make Leiden University so special.
