The university’s deep roots in society often go unnoticed. We rarely think about where the people we meet in life were educated or have worked. When I shared that I would be working at Leiden University (Campus The Hague), I was surprised to discover how many people in my social and professional network share a connection to this university, spanning generations. Each of them is proud of what they’ve accomplished, learned or are currently learning here.
