Professor Egbert Havinga, the professor I did my finals with. He welcomed everyone into the field of chemistry. He was open to students, no matter where they came from. And he supervised many researchers in their PhD research, particularly in the field of photochemical reactions. He conducted groundbreaking research during his time as a professor.
